Music of James David Audlin

James David Audlin is not just an author; he is also a singer and songwriter. He hopes to record a CD (and is open to proposals), which will be made available on this site. In the meanwhile, you can enjoy these live performances. Following is a mix of clips from shows in Greenwich Village (New York City), Kingston N.Y., and at home in the rural mountain uplands of Panama.

El Cóndor Pasa

(song written by Daniel Alomía Robles)

NOTE: This is, of course, just part of the famous melody based on ancient Peruvian folk tunes. A friend put on a recorded instrumental of the song in James David Audlin's home in Paso Ancho, Panamá, and the latter spontaneously picked up his soprano recorder to play along; the friend happened to catch a portion on video.

"El Cóndor Pasa" may still be copyright and owned by the estate of Daniel Alomía Robles in some countries. The performance depicted was private and therefore without charge, and viewing the video below is free to the public; nobody received or receives any money in relation to the performance or video.
